28th Annual JMM Boys Alumni Meet - Friday, December 22, 2006

Dust off that Speedo and find your goggles... The 28th Annual JMM Boys Alumni Meet will be held on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 at the friendly confines of Madison Memorial pool. Here are the important times: WARMUPS: 4:30 PM PARADE OF ALUMNI: 5:30 PM MEET STARTS: ~5:45 PM POST-MEET CELEBRATION (@ Gammon Road Nitty Gritty): 7:30 PM Remember that the earlier you can arrive at the meet, the more time Bill has to put together our winning line-up. After our victory, we will celebrate at the Nitty Gritty (off of Gammon Road towards Middleton) Happy Holidays to everyone and hopefully we will see many of you on the 22nd!!

Memorial Boys Repeat As State Champions

February 19 , 2006 - The Madison Memorial Boys Swimming & Diving team claimed the program's first back-to-back state title since 1980-81 by outscoring runner-up Arrowhead by 27 points. Memorial claimed the programs eighth WIAA Division I title in school history by winning all three relays despite being seeded first in only one relay heading into the meet. Memorial Boys Claim 2005 State Title in Kolp's Final Year

February 19 , 2005 - The Madison Memorial Boys Swimming & Diving team claimed the program's seventh WIAA Division I state title on Saturday, February 19, 2005. It is the Memorial boys first state title since 1996, after finishing runners-up in the last four seasons. Memorial scored 269.5 points ahead of Hartland Arrowhead's 222 points. On their way to the title their were several records set including: NEW STATE & SCHOOL RECORD 200 Medley Relay - 1:33.61 (Mauricio Sousa, Cody Smith, Michael Vergeront, Peter Mullee) NEW SCHOOL RECORD 50 Free - 21.06 (Michael Vergeront) NEW SCHOOL RECORD 100 Fly - 49.86 (Michael Vergeront) NEW SCHOOL RECORD 100 Free - 46.43 (Peter Mullee) NEW STATE & SCHOOL RECORD 200 Free Relay - 1:25.76 (Mike Schultz, Michael Vergeront, Peter Mullee, Michael Hanson) With the new relay records, Memorial now owns all three of the state relay records. Congratulations to the team on a tremendous performance and what a fitting ending to Kolp's long, storied career as our head boys swim coach.
