January 19, 2004 - The Madison Memorial Swimming & Diving web site surpassed 100,000 hits in 2003. Special thanks to all those that have visited the site. As you will notice the site recently underwent some changes. The changes will help make the site easier to view, navigate, and will allow for better access to important information. 35 Years of Memorial Team Pictures Now Online

Less than $3,000 Away From Goal

December 1, 2002 - The Timing System/Alumni Record Board Fund is now less than $3,000 away from our goal of $20,000. As of today we have received donations from 130 friends of Memorial Swimming & Diving. A very special thanks to all those that have helped us come this far. To all those we have not heard from, please remember that every little bit helps. All donations are tax deductible and can be made payable to the JMM Booster Club. New Madison Memorial Swimming & Diving Website

June 29, 2002 - Thanks for visiting the new Madison Memorial Swimming & Diving Website. The website is now up and running but currently only has this one page. I anticipate trying to add one page per week for the next couple weeks. Please keep checking back for additional updates.

Project Snapshots

Timing System/Scoreboard - The first project is a new timing system/scoreboard to replace our current, outdated system. Many Big Eight programs have already updated their systems. Similarly, we are also looking to update our system to offer parents, spectators, athletes, and coaches a scoreboard with more information (splits, names, and team scores). The system will benefit all those who swim as well as those who watch the meets. Alumni Record Board - The second project is an alumni record board. With the addition of the girls alumni meet to the schedule, there are now two alumni meets per year, one for the boys (December 21, 2002 @ 5:30 PM) and one for the girls (Saturday, August 24, 2002 @ 5:30 PM), where alumni get to come back to strut their stuff (or float) against the current teams. Our goal is to recognize alumni with a new alumni only record board. The record board will be hung over the far end of the bleachers where the alumni swimmers congregate each year.
